Well, one of the rules that I think is sufficient, is “Use large font.” When you use a larger font it grabs the audiences attention and that’s always a good thing. It would probably be better to use a bigger font for the title of each slide instead of typing the whole slide in the same big font. Another rule is to “Make the picture bleed.” That means to make the picture go off the edge. You don’t want a basic power point, so when you do that it kind of makes it look original, different. The “3 Point Rule” is also important. It explains that you need to think about your space making. Like, how big the picture is should kind of correspond with how much or how big the font is and then you should have a good amount of space around the text and picture.
